Dr. Z's AM Predictions!

Well well well... I'm back after a shocking loss @ Seattle. Actually It wasn't really that shocking. I was bound to lose at some point. Time to regroup and dominate tonite (and especially tomorrow afternoon!)

Shall we get started? Currently I'm 8-3 overall, posting a 4-1 record in my last predictions, missing out on only my own game.

Looking at the games I see 3 big ones tonite. Which game will be the Game of the Night? I guess we'll just have to see... A surprise choice maybe?


Game 1: Montana State Billings @ BYU, Hawaii (-10)

In all honesty this game will be closer then it should be. I'm still picking BYU, Hawaii. But BYU, Hawaii should win by 40 and I'm only picking a 16 point W.


Game 2: Chaminade (-6) @ Central Washington

CWash has to get a win at some point, right? I predicted Chaminade making a move to get back into the post season just 2 games ago. They loss. Now they are sitting outside the PI. Well Boys and Girls. In the We-Aren't-Going-To-Be-Winless Upset Special CWash by 4, lead by their super freshmen.

Game 3: Hawaii Pacific (-4) @ Hawaii at Hilo

HiPac is still in the postseason race, HH isn't. Easy enough, right? Right. HiPac by 9.


Game 4: Seattle @ St. Martin's (-1)

Woot! I picked it! St. Mart's gets a HUGE win against SeaPac!!! The win put St. Mart's right into the thick of things for an NT bid. I like them to continue to enhance their resume with a solid win agianst conference foe Seattle. Look for a big letdown from Seattle after their huge home win against BYU, Hawaii last night.


Now boys and girls, 2 games left. Which one to be the Game of the Night? Hmmm... Choices, choices...


Game 5: Seattle Pacific @ North West Nazarene

No line? C'mon Vegas you can do better then that! The Dr. Z line on this game is NNU -4. And ya know what? I'd put money on them to cover. But this isn't about my gambling habits, this is about the game. NNU won another close game last night, something they hadn't been able to do during coach uchuskies tenure. I'm figuring this will continue and in the Vegas-Didn't-Give-Us-A-Line-Those-Pansy's Game Feature, I pick NNU by 2. Pugh to miss the frontend late and give SeaPac a chance.


Game of the Night: West New Mexico (-1) @ Humboldt State

Alright I couldn't hold the suspense could I? This had to be the game of the Night, right? Well... I guess. So onto the game. Up and coming coach indiansrck versus proven vet metsmax. Tough choice, two great teams, two teams on rolls, two teams at their peak. In the end I think that homecourt advantage will play a huge roll in this game as both teams are very evenly matched. So in the Mets-Gives-Dr.-Z-A-Chance Upset Special, I'm going with Humboldt by 5.
