THE Finish (East)

Well good folks of the gnac, err I mean the greatest DII conference ever established, Here it is, THE Finish. It's THE Finish of THE Best conference EVER.

Here's how I see it unfolding.

North West Nazarene (Currently 5-1):

Carlos Rogers is a pimp. Need I say more? He has NNU running on all cylinders and I just don't see them slowing down very soon. The win at Humboldt was a huge statement game for NNU and I forsee them closing out strong. Something they have a history of not being able to do. NNU has 4 Big games left this season which Include a visit from Seattle Pacific, where I see them avenging an earlier season loss, a road trip to BYU, Hawaii where coach Uchuskies has had Dr. Z's number. This season I see a big victory for the Zcrew tho. And then visits from both Humboldt State and West New Mexico where I see a split. Assuming (and this is big) that NNU takes care of the games they should (Hello CWash upset!) I see NNU losing 2 more games on the season and moving to 13-3 in the gnac and being crowned the East Champs!

Seattle Pacific (Currently 4-1):

With Bushovisky leading the way SeaPac is looking for a bid to the NT this year. Unlikely (yet good in terms of rpi/sos) they play in the toughest half of any conference in the nation! Here's how I see them playing out. I see 4 more losses on the way in games versus WNM, BYU, Hawaii, Humboldt state and NNU. That leaves SeaPac at 11-5 which should be enough to get them into the NT but only good enough for 3rd in the packed gnac.

Humboldt State (Currnetly 4-1):

The season is a success! A win against Dr. Z makes any season special for coach metsmax! Aside from that this team is looking to finish high in the gnac without having any All gnac performers as posted before. I see it shaking out like so: A loss against NNU, another against St. Marts to end the season to tie for the #1 slot (yet in tiebreaker lose to uchuskies for head to head losses) and come in 2nd at 13-3.
